Bibi Sukhjinder Kaur, the wife of Bhai Balbir Singh Bhootna, she is the LAST FEMALE Sikh political prisoner has walked out of court as a free woman after being cleared of all the false charges framed against her.
Bibi Sukhjinder Kaur was arrested on aiding and abetting charges and was imprisoned in Maximum Security Jail Nabha since 25/08/09.
Today She could be seen leaving court alongside her husband Balbir Singh in the kesri dastaar, who remains in prison accused in other cases and advocate Jaspal Singh Manjhpur (blue dastaar). SOPW has been working extremely hard for some time to ensure that Sukhjinder Kaur is released, as you can imagine the rigours of an Indian prison are harsher for our sisters to endure.
