Journalist Surinder Singh acquitted in TADA case

Chandigarh: Punjab journalist Surinder Singh was acquitted on Wednesday from 27-year-old TADA case registered by Haryana police. He will be released in the next few hours once all formalities and paperwork are completed.

It was on 17th October 2015 that the 27-year-old TADA case registered by Haryana’s Ghula Chika police, was lodged against Surinder Singh. Knowing of his innocence and in order to continue raising a voice against police impunity, corruption and harassment of Sikhs and other minority communities, Surinder Singh willingly surrendered himself at the Ambala District Court.
