Chandigarh – Punjab High Court has blamed Parkash Singh Badal’s Government for prolonging the announcement of the death of controversial radical preacher Ashutosh.
It has been about 8 months since he died but his followers are insisting that he is in ‘samaadhi’ (deep meditation). They have left his dead body in a freezer and amusingly believe he will come out of samaadhi. The Punjab government has not intervened with the issue of his dead body.
The main reason some allege is that Badal’s wife Surinder Kaur Badal was a staunch follower of Ashutosh and often visited his controversial dera in Noormehal. Therefore, Badal also had a soft spot for the self styled Guru Ashutosh.
