Victoria has recorded its deadliest day of the COVID-19 pandemic, with 19 deaths overnight.
The state has also recorded 322 new cases of COVID-19.
Australia’s death toll has now surpassed 300, with 314 people losing their lives to COVID-19. Of those, 229 lives lost were from Victoria.

The Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) has moved to releasing Victoria’s daily figures on Twitter, rather than announcing them in the press conference.
