Deadliest day: Victoria records 19 deaths, 322 new coronavirus cases

Victoria has recorded its deadliest day of the COVID-19 pandemic, with 19 deaths overnight.

The state has also recorded 322 new cases of COVID-19.

Australia’s death toll has now surpassed 300, with 314 people losing their lives to COVID-19. Of those, 229 lives lost were from Victoria.


Premier Daniel Andrews spoke at a press conference later today.
