Vikram Dhanaula absconds from Hospital, returns to Protest Site

Delhi – Vikram Singh Dhanaula, who was recently forcibly picked up by Delhi police on 31st January, has absconded from the hospital and returned back to the protest site at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi.

Vikram, who hails from Dhanaula village in Barnala district, had started the Hunger Strike on December 10 seeking punishment for the guilty over the 1984 Sikh Genocide massacre. He was admitted to Ram Manohar Lohia hospital by the police against his own will on Saturday. However, he was able to slip away from the hospital on sunday night.

Sikh organization ‘Qaumi Nishan-e-Sikh Movement’ and his wife are supporting the protest started by Vikram Singh Dhanaula.
