Victorian Planning Minister announces grant of $400k for Keysborough Gurdwara

Melbourne, 13 Sep 2014 – The Minister for Planning, Multicultural Affairs and Citizenship Matthew Guy, paid a visit to the Keysborough Gurudwara Sahib (Sikh Temple) recently.

Hon. Minister. Matthew Guy announced a grant of approximately $400,000 towards further works at the Keysborough Gurudwara Sahib (Sikh Temple).

Joanna Palatsides – Liberal for Dandenong, Susan Serey – Liberal for Narre Warren South, Gandhi Bevinakoppa – Liberal for Clarinda, Robert Davies – Liberal for Mulgrave,Inga Peulich MLC, Amada Amanda Stapledon – Liberal for Narre Warren North and otherLiberal Victoria candidates were also present in a show of support for the Sikh community.

The Minister said that the amazingly warm, civically minded and very open Sikh community here in the South East of Greater Melbourne have absolutely earned the support of the Napthine Coalition Government.

He toured the new building of Gurdwara Sahib, escorted by Bhai Gursharan Singh, Bhai Harman Singh, the Secretary of the temple and other Sikhs.
