Victoria Police are appealing members of the public to help them locate missing teen Komal Randhawa, a 16 year old student from Melbourne’s Hillside suburb.
A police statement released Monday afternoon drew massive response from the community attracting over two thousand shares in the first two hours of being posted on Facebook.
Ms Randhawa has been missing since Sunday night from her Kanmore Crescent home.
She was last seen around 11 pm studying for her chemistry examination, police said.
“Please if you have any information could you contact me or the police, I just want my little sister to come home,” wrote Kardo Randhawa on Victoria Police’s Facebook page.
Both police and Ms Randhawa’s family “hold concerns for her welfare as her disappearance is out of character”.
“Komal is about 168cm tall, with long dark hair and brown eyes.”
“She was last seen wearing a black jacket and t-shirt, black leggings and white converse shoes.”
Anyone who sees Komal is urged to call Keilor Downs Police Station on 9365 3333.
