Three persons including a father-son duo were killed in a road accident on national highway-1 in Panipat district on Wednesday.
The deceased were identified as Karnal assistant sub-inspector Dilbag Singh, his son Vikram Porus, Director of Swastik Migration & Education Consultancy in Melbourne, and Geeta, a resident of Moga, Punjab.
Police said, “SI Dilbag Singh’s car collided with a canter near Samalkha due to dense fog. His wife Krishna has sustained multiple injuries and is in a critical condition.”
Police said that Dilbag and others were going to Delhi to drop his friend’s daughter Geeta at Indra Gandhi International Airport.
The deceased cop was honoured recently at the Republic Day function held here.
