According to a statement by Hardeep’s son Nishan Singh with the suggestion of defense lawyers for arson, on Saturday night, a drunk Parambir entered the house and started hitting his wife. He even threw her turban on the floor, dragged her by her hair, and reportedly tried to kill her. When Nishan tried to rescue his mother from the clutches of his father, he was also beaten up. He called one of his family members and on reaching the spot, the man was shocked to see Hardeep’s condition. Sources reveal that Hardeep’s in-laws are also involved in this brutality. The police officials have reportedly said that this has been going on between the husband and wife since long. They said they are looking into the case and who so ever will be at fault, shall be dealt with.
