Self-styled godman Lakha, who had equated himself with Sikh Gurus, tenders written apology

As reported about in the Sikh Channel Special Report of 15 October 2013, the self-styled godman who had been misguiding people by equating himself with Sikh Gurus has now tendered written apology before the members of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Satikar Committee led by Bhai Balbir Singh Muchal.
As per information Lakha was previously based at Bahawalvasi near Balluana but the local Sikh sangat opposed his objectionable activities he shifted his base to village Roranwali, district Hanumangarh in Rajasthan.
Bhai Balbir Singh Muchal told media persons that Lakha used to beat-up women as a show of his so-called powers, and ask these women to say that they see Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji and Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji in Lakha.
“When Lakha’s activities came to the knowledge of Sikh sangat they contacted us” he said, while informing that Lakha has admitted in writing that he was misguiding people as he lacks any super-natural powers.
He has apologised for equating himself with Sikh Gurus and said that in future he shall not indulge in these type of activities.
It is notable that Lakha had been using and distorting certain panktis from Bhai Gurdas Ji’s Vaar to equate himself with Sikh Gurus.
Recently, Akal Takht Jathedar Giani Gurbachan Singh Ji had taken notice of complaints against Lakha.
