Kamal Sharma, a known RSS face in Punjab BJP, Former Punjab BJP president, passed away on Sunday morning after suffering a heart attack in Ferozepur district.
Sharma, 48, went for a morning walk where he suffered a heart attack He was taken to a local hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead, he said.
Sharma is survived by his wife and two children. His body will be cremated Monday at 11 am in Ferozepur, said Subodh Verma, BJP president of Fazilka district, reported Indian Express.
Two hours back, Sharma had greeted people on Diwali through his Twitter handle.

Kamal Sharma, a hardcore Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) activist, started his career with the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad, the student wing of the RSS, in 1985. he held various positions before joining the BJP and was appointed media advisor to Khadi and Village Industry Commission of India in 2004
Two years later, he was made the media advisor to the Madhya Pradesh chief minister and took charge as the political advisor to Badal in June 2012.
