A TEENAGE delivery driver has been ambushed by three men who demanded he hand over his six pizzas – and still beat him up.Â
The 19-year-old pizza delivery man was lured to a home address in Victoria Street around 10.30pm.
When he arrived at the house, he was turned away by the occupants who told him they had not ordered pizza.
As he approached his scooter to return to work, the teen was confronted by three men who demanded the six pizzas.
Despite handing over the meal, the victim was beaten with a pole, punched and kicked.
He received minor facial injuries which did not require hospital treatment.
Police are investigating and would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident or anything suspicious in the area.
The men police wish to speak to were perceived to be African in appearance.
One of the men was wearing a red hoodie at the time of the incident.
It’s believed two other men were waiting nearby.
