Melbourne – In a much appreciating move by the newly formed Gurdwara Management Committee of Sri Guru Singh Sabha Gurdwara in Craigieburn, an open discussion session was organised to engage sangat with upcoming projects.
The session was held on Sunday 27th September in the main hall Gurdwara premises.
The idea behind the discussion was to collate ideas and suggestions from Sangat perspective for new community projects. The discussion was mainly focused around building of a new community centre, extension of library, re-development of current Punjabi School, Room for senior citizens and more.
There were lot of ideas that came from other committee members as well as from the sangat itself. The stage secretary Gurmeet Singh Randhawa and president Sukhdeep Singh Deol managed the discussion in a collaborative manner.
It was the first of its kind that such a discussion was held by involving views of sangat members. Committee members have requested the sangat to share their suggestions for these upcoming projects so that sangat money is used in the most appropriate and useful manner.
