Modi dossier alleges UK Sikh Diaspora and Channels spreading terror

London – Indian Prime minister Narendra Modi is learnt to have handed over dossier to the UK government containing “evidence” of alleged Sikh Diaspora involvement in terrorism in the country and links of its security agencies.

As per reports, the dossier not only targets British Sikhs but also Sikh TV channels based in UK working with groups based in Britain to “radicalise” Sikh youths and raise funds for terror activities to be carried out in India.

The Indian media, citing unnamed’ intelligence sources’, claimed that Avtar Singh Khanda and Babbar Khalsa International-UK’s Paramjit Singh Pamma were ‘radicalizing’ Sikh youths and training them to assemble IEDs with ‘locally available chemicals’ and further contended that such classes were conducted in Guru Nanak Gurdwara, Spark Hill, Stratford, Birmingham in December 2014) and Gurdwara Singh Sabha, Glasgow in January 2015.

A senior Indian official told Livemint that India raised the issue with the UK as Pakistan’s Inter Services Intelligence (ISI) is working with groups based in Britain to “radicalise” Sikh youths and raise funds for terror activities to be carried out in India.

Dossier also targeted Sikh Channels

The agencies worried over indoctrination of by Sikh radicals also raised concerns over TV and Radio channels controlled by Pro-Khalistan outfits. Some of these channels- Sikh Channel, Sangat TV (both UK) and Star Live (France) are controlled radicals. Babbar Khalsa has in fact started an internet radio channel for indoctrination.
