Melbourne based Punjabi Singer Nirvair Singh dies in road accident

On one hand, where the Punjabi music industry still couldn’t recover from the death of Sidhu Moose Wala, on the other hand, another young talent Nirvair left the mortal world. Based out in Melbourne, Nirvair gained fame with the song ‘Tere Bina’ from the album ‘My Turn’.

Nirvair Singh died in a fatal car crash in Melbourne and two people have been arrested in relation to that.

Police said they responded to reports of a car “driving erratically” in the area before a three-car crash in the suburb of Diggers Rest at about 3.30pm on Tuesday.

A man and a woman from the allegedly offending car were arrested at the scene and taken to hospital under police guard with minor injuries.

Nirvair Singh struck in his car and died at the scene. The driver of the third car was treated for minor injuries. The cause of the crash is being investigated by police.

Nirvair’s last song came three years ago titled ‘Hikk Thok Ke’, which was a duet with Gurlez Akhtar.

Nirvair is survived by his wife and two kids behind.
