The Melbourne mother who plunged to her death in front of her family at a Grampians lookout has been identified.
Rosy Loomba, 38, is believed to have climbed over a barrier to get a better photo, prompting pleas for visitors to stop ignoring the warning signs.
She tragically fell 80m from the Boroka lookout to her death.
Loomba’s sister-in-law said she had come to Australia from India, the Herald Sun reported.
Tour guide Graham Wood was there moments before the tragedy happened.
“There was quite a number of people here, some even while we were here elected to climb out onto the ledge,” he said.
“I made comments to my customers that this happens all the time and one of these days someone’s gonna fall off.”
He said tourists ignore the warning signs.
Daredevils are often seen at the lookout, dicing with death on the clifftop.
