Melbourne – Sikh Volunteers Australia has launched its annual greeting card campaign on the eve of Dhan Guru Nanak Dev ji Parkash purab encouraging Sikh community to send a message of Sikh principles and spread awareness about out religion to people from other communities.
The campaign which runs couple of weeks before the Gurpurab offers free greeting cards to Sikh Community to distribute to their co-workers, school kids and neighbours from other communities. The campaign also looks forward from feedback from other communities.
The greeting card is designed with information telling about Guru Nanak as founder of Sikh religion and His Golden rules.
This is the second consecutive year that Sikh Volunteers team members have taken this initiative. Last year they started this campaign in their local area, however after receiving a great response, they now planned to do it at a bigger level. Khalsa Education Society Australia is also working with Sikh Volunteers to spread this message and they will help in distributing the cards in Northern suburbs of Melbourne.
Sikh Community is urged to further support such projects to spread message of Guru Nanak Dev Sahib ji.
