Breaking: Massive Beadbi of Gutka Sahibs discovered in Ludhiana

The police have recovered 1,000 boxes containing 40,000 Gutkas from the house of the accused who burnt the Gutkas yesterday.

As per information, the accused are the followers of Dera Sant Harnam Singh Rampur Khera Wale. The police said the accused used to send the books to New Zealand and the USA.

Today, the police handed over the Gutkas and literature to the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) at Alamgir Sahib Gurdwara. The accused were presented in the court which sent them to a two-day remand.

Yesterday, the police arrested three persons for burning Gutkas at Avtar Nagar, Ferozepur Road. The accused, Deepak Arora and Rajinder Arora, were arrested while their accomplice Jasbir Singh had managed to flee. The accused used to export Gutkas in boxes of spices to foreign countries. A case under Sections 295 and 34 of the IPC was registered. Jatinderjit Singh, SHO, Sadar, said the third accused had surrendered.

The SGPC has authorised some publishers in the state to export gutkas to foreign countries. The accused were not known to the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee.
