MELBOURNE –Â The highly anticipated Grand Finale of the First ever Sardarni & Sardarji International contest 2017 was held on 27th August 2017 at The Peninsula Docklands in Melbourne. The event was organised by Virse de Waris and Virasat Films.
The grand finale consisted of Four rounds – Ramp walk round, Talent Round, Maharaja Maharani Round and Knowledge test round.
The judges at the competition were the Punjabi Film industry artists Nirmal Rishi, Narinder Singh Nina and Seema Kaushal. Punjabi Singer cum actor Tarsem Singh Jassar, S. Dilbag Singh (Producer of Toofan Singh movie) were the special guests at the event. The event was hosted by Gurjeet Singh and Jaspinder Cheema.
A total of 17 finalists from India, Canada and Australia contested in this event. At the end of nearly six hour grand finale, contestants Pardeep Kaur from Australia and Ravinder Singh from Canada were crowned as Sardarni and Sardarji respectively.
