Recently Punjabi SInger Sippy Gill’s latest song has upset many people in Punjab and overseas as it promotes violence, hurts religious sentiments of Sikhs and gives wrong image to youth.
Many Punjabi’s worldwide have expressed outrage as the video has used a Sikh Gurdwara as the medium of making announcement to rob of one’s daughter. This is not only unethical but also a disaster concept. Punjab has been suffering many major problems such as the drugs, female infanticide etc and bringing such videos will only elevate such concepts. These types of songs promote an unethical path and many are feeling the youth should be guided towards a better tomorrow and these types of songs have the wrong influence.
But here is a great response and reply given by our youth who are working against vulgarity songs. Punjab’s young youth has released a short movie as a reply against the ’10 Mint Song’ by Sipply Gill. This should be taken as a lesson by all punjabi singers not to come with any such vulgar videos in future.
