The 34-year old politician, Jagmeet Singh has been featured as one of the five young Torontonians who are on the verge of greatness.
He has been identified as the next Andrea Horwath, who is a Canadian politician and leader of Ontario’s NDP.
In 2011, Singh, who is a trilingual lawyer and mixed martial arts fighter, won Bramalea-Gore-Malton—defeating the two-term Liberal incumbent—for the NDP. He’s gained a profile by fighting for lower car insurance rates, gathering enough public support that Premier Wynne was forced to adopt the cause. Finance minister Charles Sousa has promised a 15 per cent reduction in the next two years.
In 2013, he has been votes as one of Toronto’s most stylish people. He is a handsome Sikh man who has passion for fashion.
