‘The Punjab’ Newspaper banned at Parklea Gurdwara, Sydney

Must Read

August 20, 2013 – As per August edition of ‘The Punjab’ Newspaper published in Sydney, on 5th August, Parklea Gurdwara refused to accept delivery of 500 copies of the newspaper sent via TNT.

As per ‘The Punjab’ Newspaper August edition, Manjit Boparai mentioned that this decision was taken by Gurdwara Committee in light of a minor comment by himself on facebook page. But according to some people from Sikh Community, who actually read his comment, it was not a minor comment, but an emotional and hurting attack over Sikh sentiments. In reality, the comment posted by Manjit Boparai was a direct comment on the pictures of Sikhs who were found guilty by London Court in the attack over General Brar.

Here is a clip of the news published in ‘The Punjab’ newspaper and the original cliping of the comment posted by Manjit Boparai.
