Takht Sri Keshgarh Sahib Jathedar Giani Mal Singh was attacked ba sharp-edged weapon by a pathi (reciter) outside his residence at Anandpur Sahib today.
As per reports, the incident took place around 1140 hrs when Giani Mal Singh, after holding meeting with the new manager of Takht Kesgarh Sahib, was going to his residence around 11.30 am. He was accompanied by Joga Singh, who is employed at Baba Gurdittaji Gurdwara at Kiratpur Sahib. When they reached near the residence, Singh tried to stab the Jathedar with a kirch but the security guards and others accompanying him overpowered Singh and thrashed him badly.
The motive of the attack was not known yet. Few days ago, security of Jathedar was beefed up keeping in view the controversy over exonerating of Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh.
The Jathedar was injured in his right thigh before security guards accompanying him overpowered the 22 years old attacker identified as Joga Singh.
AFTER DERA CHIEF PARDON
‘What after pardon to Dera chief’ “May be pardon to Narankaris and pardon to RSS” is coming. There are Akal Takht edicts against them which stop Sikhs from having any relations with these GURUDOM propagating and fascist organizations .When we analyze the pardon to Dera chief , we find out Akali leaders were going to Deras in BEKAYDA( against the edict of Akal Takht) but wanted to go BAAKAYDA( with the permission of Akal Takht Now they go to Narankari bhawans and RSS shakhas BEKAYDA but want to go BAAKAYDA and next pardon expected from Akal Takht is to Nirankares and RSS . To stop the dilution of Akal Takht principles which make Sikhs to stand up against GURUDOM and fascist forces , we have to stop it here at first step . Jathedars say pardon is given in larger interest of Sikhs but it seems it is given in larger interest of Akali Dal and it’s boss Badal family. In reality larger interests of Sikhs are hurt by this pardon , compromising with Sikh principles is certainly not in larger interests of Sikhs We should make efforts to make a movement against this misuse of our institutions and free them from anti Panthic forces.
