Sydney Sikhs submits Memo to Indian Consulate in support of Bhai Gurbaksh Singh

Canberra – Today on 17th December, a group of five Sikhs from Sydney submitted a memorandum to Indian High Commission in support of Bhai Gurbaksh Singh who is sitting on indefinite hunger strike at Gurdwara Lakhnaur Sahib, Ambala for the release of all Sikh political prisoners and in particular seven Sikhs who have reportedly completed their sentences but are still languishing in Indian prisons..

The memo expressed concerns of Sikh Community about the deteriorating health of Bhai Gurbaksh Singh ji Khalsa. The memorandum has been addressed to Indian Home Minister Hon. Rajnath Singh and was submitted to the Indian Consulate by five Sikh members – Kanwaljeet Singh Sidhu, Gurpreet Singh Badwal, Jashanpreet Singh, Upkar Singh and Balraj Singh Ogra.
