Sikhs plant trees at Mosque in Punjab to celebrate Eid-al-Adha

In the darkness of death, Sikh Relief UK volunteers in Punjab has brought this shabad to life.

In a unique and wonderful initiative by Sikh community, more than 100 plants were donated to the local Al Salam Masjid in Nawan Shehar.

It was the much-awaited festival of Eid for the Muslims on Monday, when the UK based International Charity Group Sikh Relief volunteers gifted plants to their Muslim brothers to celebrate Eid with them.

Gifting a tree is honoring with such a gift which is not only living but also benefit our planet in long term by providing food, fodder, shelter, flowers etc.

Sikh Relief UK volunteers from Punjab, also took sweets and shared with the local muslim community. The Sikh Group has been planting trees in various villages of Punjab and nearby states to make the environment cleaner and greener. The group also recently planted trees at the local village of Jathedar Sukhdev Singh Babbar on his Shaheedi anniversary.
