Melbourne –Â In the sad and most untimely demise of Bhai Harjinder Singh, who left us on 30th december 2014, our Sikh community has lost a very loving and chardikala Singh.
Harjinder Singh was a invaluable member of our community. He was loved by many of us and was particularly very popular amongst the kids as he taught them Gatka. He was also considered Ustad of Damdami Taksal Ranjit Gatka Akhara in Australia.
Harjinder inspired many around him with his charismatic Sikhi saroop and was always in a spirit of Chardikala. He will be truly missed.
Harjinder Singh spent his last few days at Sikh Sewaks Australia Gurmat Family Camp. His body is currently sent for postmortem to find the cause of his death.
Harjinder’s wife and other family members are in Punjab. He was only 27.
May Waheguru ji bless his soul and give his family and friends the courage through this difficult time.
According to Gurdwara Blackburn website, Preparations are currently being made for Harjinder to be sent to his family in Punjab for his funeral and last rites.
