Record $60000 raised for Khalsa Aid Fundraising in Melbourne

Melbourne (14 August) – Over 500 people attended the First Fundraising Dinner on August 14, 2016 in support of Khalsa Aid Charity Organization, which works for humanitarian causes all over the world. The gala and auction, which took place at Spirit of India restaurant in Preston, grossed over $60000 and raised $29000 through auction item sales, making it the most successful event ever.

The event featured keynote speaker Ravi Singh, CEO/Founder of Khalsa aid, who shared his vision and story on humanitarian and disaster relief work around the world, inspiring the local Melbourne community. Khalsa Aid Gen. Secy Balwinder Kaur and India Director Amarpreet Singh also shared their story about ongoing Khalsa Aid work. Other local speakers included Ms Maria Vamvakinou MP, Whittlesea Councillor Mary Lalios, Maria. Guests came from far and wide, spanning across Shepparton and Mildura.

All monies raised will go to Khalsa Aid, more specifically the families of our fallen brothers and sisters across world.
