Punjabi Short Film ‘Dead End’ is based on story of Padam Sri Ajit Kaur’s ‘Na Maaro’, which is being produced by ‘Sikh Virsa Council’.
Film Director of the film Balvir Singh Shergill has done MA in theatre from Punjabi University, Patiala and has good understanding of theatre and cinema. He told it took 3 to 4 months to write the story and screenplay because it is a periodic movie. They had created an atmosphere of times 25 to 30 years ago on the set to shoot the film. The film has been shot in Varinderpal Brar’s Haveli which is about two hundred years old in Khunde Halal village.
Theatre and cinema’s famous actor’s Rupinder Rupi, Narinderpal Nina and theater actor Deep Sukhan, Balvir Singh Shergill Arvay Sharma Gagan Sharman has worked in this film. Creative Director Gur Amanat Singh Patanga Assistant Director Nirav Bhullar Jass Sawan Costume Designer Pardeep, Executive Producer Jasvir Singh Harmeet Singh has worked very well.
He said that when you create a periodic film, your responsibility is increased, so we are trying our best to do justice with the story.
