As Punjab is facing its worst floods in years, this state of Punjab is disheartening for everyone, and apparently people are trying to contribute as much as they can for the same.

While the volunteers of Sikh Relief have reached the flood affected regions of Punjab, various panthic jathebandis including Akhand Kirtani Jatha members and former Akal Takhat Sahib Panj Singhs among others have come forward to help the victims.

Sikh Relief teams have been joined by Bhai Satnam Singh Khanda & Singh Sahibaans for the Chardikla of those suffering the ultimate hardship of losing their homes and businesses to the flooding caused by the Bhakra Beas Management Board mishandling of river waters release

The Singh’s have spent the entire day with our teams and have brought a huge sense of relief to those they’ve encountered across Sultanpur Lodhi area of Panjab’s Doaba region.

The situation is still very serious and the future remains uncertain for many thousands of families.

Our team is committed to remaining in the service of those in need until these families are able to cope on their own again.

Earlier Akhand Kirtani Jatha members Bhai Surjit Singh ji  and others also pledged to work for those left hungry, homeless and destitute by the floods causing havoc across Punjab.
