India submits paperwork seeking Pamma’s extradition

Today, a Portuguese court heard the case(s) being brought by the Indian government against Bhai Paramjeet Singh Pamma.

The Indian government have submitted their case against Bhai Pamma to the General Public Attorney office, which will then be sent to Minister of Justice. The Portuguese government will now review these documents to see if their is indeed a case against Bhai Pamma.

If there will be enough evidence, then the case will proceed and Bhai Pamma and his lawyers will get the case file presented by India.

If there is not enough evidence, then Bhai Pamma will be released and he will be back to UK. Defence Team have 8 days to file the defence.

Bhai Paramjeet Singh Pamma is in CHARDIKALA in jail

For the time being, Judge has ordered Bhai Pamma to be detained further until Feb 15 and thereby has been given 20 more days in detention.

Meanwhile SOPW (Sikh Relief) is also seeking opinion of India based lawyers for this case as well. Sikh Relief together with other leading organisations from around the world, have been supporting Paramjeet Singh and his family to fight against this gross injustice.
