LAHORE: For the first time an official from the minority Sikh community has been appointed as Public Relations Officer (PRO) at the Punjab Governor House.
Before being appointed at the key post in an important public office in the provincial capital Lahore, Pawan Singh Arora was working as District Information Officer in Nankana Sahab.
According to the Punjab governor’s office, Pawan Singh Arora, who was previously working as district information officer, Nankana Sahib, has assumed charge as Sarwar’s PRO.

Born on April 12, 1989, Singh was previously Information Officer at Directorate General Public Relations Punjab.
In the past, the 29-year-old has also worked as a content writer at a leading advertising agency Message Communications and as a professional actor at Ajoka Theatre.
He has also been a radio broadcaster at Daily Nai Baat, Apna FM Network and Mast FM 103.
