The depar tment has set a one-month deadline to get 9,999 vehicles in the series covered.
According to RLA officials, residents can apply for HSRPs at RLA’s Sector-17 office, besides its sub offices in Sector 42 and Industrial Area, with a written request detailing the vehicle’s chassis number, engine number and the model, along with a copy of the vehicle’s registration certificate and its insurance.
Wednesday was the last date for affixation of HSRP for CH-01-AL series. However, only 3,717 vehicles of the series got the security plate affixed.

“We opened AL series on April 1 and gave a month’s time for residents to af fix HSRPs. Now, we are not responsible for those who have not yet got the security plates affixed in AL series,” said an RLA of ficial, adding that RLA was under pressure to affix HSRPs on all its existing vehicles within two years.
