Nachiketa alleged that Mr. Kejriwal “first used then betrayed Mr. Hazare.”

“Anna asked Kejriwal and his people to stop using his name, but they repeatedly do that. They are a blot on the face of our nation and have betrayed Anna Hazare. I am a BJP worker and Anna is my guru. This act was my individual decision,” said Nachiketa.

The BJP, however, said he was not associated with it. “Nachiketa was a former BJP member and was working with our IT cell some three years ago. Since then, he has been active with the Anna movement and India Against Corruption for the last two years and is currently not a Maharashtra IT cell member,” BJP spokesperson Meenakshi Lekhi said in a statement.

Mr. Kejriwal was addressing the media to dismiss allegations against him that he “misused and spent” the money, collected during the Jan Lokpal movement days, for the party he later formed.
