LUDHIANA, Punjab (June 15, 2014)—Bhai Gurbaksh Singh Khalsa, who had campaigned for the release of illegally detained Sikhs, met with a number of Sikh youth in Ludhiana on sunday. He was here to gather support to relaunch the campaign for the release of Political Sikh prisoners who had already completed their sentences.
According to Bhai Gurpreet Singh Hans, who was present at the meeting, Bhai Gurbaksh Singh Khalsa talked about relaunching Badi Singhs Release Campaign. While speaking with Sikh youths in Ludhiana, he also discussed about factors that caused the “Amb Sahib” morcha to fail and said that he had learnt a great lot during the hunger strike, and he will not let the same mistakes happen again.
He also appealed to all Panthic organizations and Sikhs to unite for this movement to takeit further.
Besides Bhai Gurpreet Singh Hans, others who were present in the meeting with Bhai Gurbaksh Singh were Advovate Gurjinder Singh Sahni (President United Sikh Youth Federation For Justice), Manwinder Singh Giaspura, Bhawandeep Singh, Sahib Singh Lakhna, Harjinder Singh, Jaswinder Singh and others.
