Bargari Desecration: Police seeking lie detector test on accused brothers

Must Read

Faridkot – The Faridkot police, probing the sacrilege case, today sought permission from a local court, to conduct a polygraph and lie detector test on brothers Rupinder Singh and Jaswinder Singh, who were arrested on October 20.

girftar-bhra-rupinder-te-jaswinder[1]The police claimed that the lie detector test was necessary as the brothers were proving to be “tough nut to crack” even for a team of experienced interrogators during their six days of questioning in police custody.

The police, in their application to the court, claimed Jaswinder told them that his younger brother Rupinder knew everything. But when they questioned Rupinder, he refused to reply saying he was not in a position to answer due to his spinal injury.

As the brothers are smart and clever in dodging our questions, a polygraph and lie detector test will help us ascertain the motive behind the sacrilege incident,” the plea reads.

It claimed Rupinder had received calls from Australia and Dubai after the sacrilege incident. However the person involved from Australia has already refuted police theory.
