In order to strengthen struggle initiated by Bapu Surat Singh Khalsa for the release of the Sikh political prisoners, the Sangharsh Committee has announced to jam the railway traffic on Delhi-Amritsar track on May 31 from 12 PM to 2 PM.
According to a statement by Bhai Gurdeep Singh Bathind, Railway tracks connecting Amritsar-Delhi junctions will be blocked on for two hours on 31st May to protest against inaction of Punjab and Indian government in the case of Sikh political prisoners.
It is notable that recently the Sangharsh Committee members have held a meeting with Punjab CM Parkash Singh Badal to resolve issue of Sikh Political Prisoners, however the committee has said that untill they see any results, they will continue their struggle.
