For this video titled Shooon Te Shaaan, Aamir teamed up with his Dangal director, Nitesh Tiwari, and acting coach, Prakash Bhardwaj, again.
Aamir Khan is in the news yet again and for all the right reasons. Netizens are all praise for the actor’s latest commercial for a TV channel, which drives across a powerful message on women empowerment, and has been trending since.
In the television commercial called Shooon Te Shaaan, Aamir, who named his sweet shop, Gurdeep Singh and daughters, is seen telling a customer that his business has been doing great after it was listed on the internet, to which the customer says that he has been blessed with worthy sons. Aamir corrects him by saying “not sons, but daughters”.
Through the ad , the actor schools the country on feminism, equal rights and the need to celebrate merit over gender, while warming our hearts through it all.
The commercial sends out the right message:
“Success doesn’t come to a boy or a girl. Success comes to one with the right thinking.”
On his official Facebook page, where he posted the ad, the video has over 5.3 million views and has been shared on the social media platform over 88,000 times.
