PK movie Banned or not ? SC says NO need to ban the film !


Good News for the Film makers and Aamir Khan fans – Supreme Court say “NO” to Ban PK.

aamir-khan-pk-movieActor Aamir Khan’s PK is facing many troubles and many critics are approaching court with the plea to ban PK. On the other hand, the film has received a raving response from the audiences as it has unique concept and implementation.

The legal trouble for PK began with Aamir Khan’s nude pose on the first poster of PK where he held only a transistor in one hand to cover his private parts.

All India Human Rights and Social Justice Front stated that the film hurts religious and spiritual sentiments of the people and hence should be banned. An FIR has filed against Rajkumar Hirani and producer of PK by Secretary of Hindu Legal Cell.

Supreme Court stated that there was no need to ban the film at all. Supreme Court had rejected the plea to ban the film and instead asked viewers to ‘Not watch the film, if they had qualms with its sentiment and presentation!’.

Chief Justice of India, RM Lodha said “[highlight]Don’t waste the valuable time of court by applying stupid logic. If you don’t like it, don’t watch the film. Don’t bring religious facets here. These are matters of entertainment. If you restrict it, it will affect other’s rights. Everything is on the internet. What will you hide?[/highlight]”.
