MOTORISTS struggling on one of Western Sydney’s most clogged motorways will get some relief when the first new lanes of the M5 West widening project open in August.

The NSW Government is spending $400 million adding an extra lane each way on a 22km stretch of the M5 between King Georges Rd at Bexley and The Crossroads, just southwest of Liverpool.
